Compliance is checked by inspection and, if there is a doubt, by applying the mechanical test
& Z3 H0 S; M9 H9 d8 igiven in 15.5 or 15.8. During the test, the terminals shall not work loose and there shall be no$ Z4 `% x- x1 T3 l$ C
damage that will impair their further use.; D9 [1 g. ?" m9 s/ C
The above conditions apply not only to terminals which are fixed to equipment but also to: B! ^$ V3 y. v+ V! y9 l7 w8 K
terminals which are delivered separately. Covering with sealing compound without other means2 {, I+ F1 Q1 \3 ~0 x/ K. Z
of locking is not sufficient. Self-hardening resins may however be used to lock terminals which
5 m% A( p6 }0 b6 ]are not subject to torsion in normal use.
