1. Member States shall adopt and publish the provisions# K* A0 M$ x) r, P9 O8 Y, q- k
necessary to comply with this Directive by 29 June 2008 at the {4 \6 p* \3 z5 X3 a* X. @, q
latest. They shall forthwith inform the Commission thereof.
2 T8 B7 `# _1 T+ E% {They shall apply those provisions with effect from 293 ?. e& e Q; j# N9 r& T3 q
December 2009.
# L4 v9 q9 f: Y$ F: uWhen Member States adopt those provisions, they shall contain
8 G5 H3 I9 q2 z7 a; w4 La reference to this Directive or shall be accompanied by such& y) y" d0 `: |! E
reference on the occasion of their official publication. Member
2 Z8 w; q6 k( l# i7 DStates shall determine how such reference is to be made.

text of the provisions of national law which they adopt in the

Until 29 June 2011 Member States may allow the placing on
' z; J0 C( q/ S/ w4 x+ t1 `: \the market and the putting into service of portable cartridgeoperated3 t4 x/ k8 D9 m/ o$ x
fixing and other impact machinery which are in
5 ^* U/ R; A- H+ t1 p! K- }conformity with the national provisions in force upon adoption6 W, N; ~8 {$ n6 x. a, S$ i
of this Directive., K, |5 D. a8 A( Y7 N
Article 28: d/ s. f7 ?& ^ _5 h
Entry into force% ^. n' `( r# }( i5 c% J' ^
This Directive shall enter into force on the 20th day following( M" F. }- D! s" n C
its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. |
