Question: Various IEC standards have requirements for humidity/temperature

There does not seem to be a technical justification for the differences in the
specifications.
Accordingly, it is suggested and recommended that the humidity/temperature
+ o) f, ^4 a2 M' `& y/ `( _% Kspecifications in the above standards be consistent.
# a" G% W; K  }$ J; uDecision: The chamber is to be set at 93% RH, with +/-3% RH tolerance, at a convenient
9 n3 w2 _& r# J8 a  n* p2 _temperature between 20°C and 30°C, but the chosen temperature to be kept
; Y! e& y6 F- x5 F0 B( |6 e$ ~7 J1 j, mwithin +/- 2°C during the test.
) j- J6 ]% W3 G  Z% X6 nThe standard specifications for the humidity are to be met at the
reference/measuring point, where the controlling humidity sensor is located.
The tolerances permitted in CTL DSH 251A (+/-6% RH) are allowed in other
parts of the humidity chamber, away from the reference point.
