The materials shall be classified HB, HB40 or HB75 (HB = horizontal burning) in accordance3 x8 Z3 C0 Y. q0 M; Y8 }9 w: U0 _* x
with the criteria given below.
6 Y6 z: \, \9 } g8.4.1 A material classified HB shall conform to one of the following criteria:8 j# M9 _. M- T
a) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;
' v0 [( K8 [! H# S n# Sb) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, the
9 V3 d: }& G, ]& K5 _flame front shall not pass the 100 mm mark;
9 C, \) s* m7 I; K) J9 q6 bc) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding

d) if the linear burning rate does not exceed 40 mm/min for tests with 3,0 mm ± 0,2 mm
