0 p: t2 {- x" I+ l. g1. Perform pre-submittals safety design review and analysis of proposed Purchase for Resale (PFR) products, product review and testing
9 F. u) L% } Y }- z/ K" {7 {2. Critical component drawing reviews / {$ t+ m& P/ b. c. A: k
3. Assist the PFR vendors with interfacing with the Agencies, i.e. CCC, UL, TUV etc + {* f7 l! {+ C& }- J8 Z2 B
4. Perform CEA-CEB19 standard testing and all internal Bose DCE Safety tests, i.e. DC offset testing for passive speaker testing on PFR vendor products : Q7 ]5 D* t/ A2 A2 u3 }
5. Support CCC submittals for Bose USA designed products
* ]3 `3 c c" M$ P: h6. Handle alternate construction submittals with CCC, UL, and TUV etc 0 e+ m: f/ _* O- W( N$ v& F# Z
7. Perform bi-annual follow-up inspections at the PFR vendors’ factories to verify the product has not changed
( B5 z H ]' p) m: M4 |: H" O9 Q8. Perform bi-annual CCC product verification review and testing for product Mfg in China
) R. l: {0 W/ d2 }3 V9. Support Agency follow-up inspections at PFR vendors factories and resolve any non-conformances 7 ?, g* J% P9 s3 [
10. Interface with the Chinese Agency CQC to help to resolve issues related to current certifications " r& a0 w/ E) K6 d
11. Support power supply vendors in understanding certification requirements, perform preliminary construction review, support Project team to track supply approvals.
$ i/ Q0 h( Y ?0 E3 o( s5 o12. Perform Energy Efficiency testing on new PFR products/ power supplies at each DP/MP phase and create reports

15. FINS (customer returns with possible safety issues) review for locally returned products 5 A* R# S$ O z) w/ S0 ~
16. Keep on top of changing local regulations so that the Design community can be advised of possible standard changes impacting current product and future designs' x4 Y9 Z8 S+ [0 U1 q% `7 J

• Minimum Electrical Tech degree and two to five years of applicable work experience in dealing with International Safety Agencies, UL. TUV, Intertek, CQC etc..- N6 h3 F' Q0 F1 b# B
• Must have a working knowledge of UL/IEC60065 or similar standards with testing and Safety Agency interface experience.
" O, u# y( u1 D( |/ _' T$ C• Hands on familiarity with test equipment, Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc., and ability to perform all necessary safety testing preferred. : h, [1 D2 w6 Y. [$ T K
• Must be proactive and able to work independently with the ability to manage and coordinate several projects in parallel. . U" `0 o+ H: t V6 z
• Strong written and verbal skills required. / h9 F! ~1 m5 s$ n; D/ s8 e0 W
• Must be fluent with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Microsoft Front Page a plus.0 { Z4 T" ?8 L% s+ o: C! q
