2.10.5.6 Thin sheet material - General

Insulation in thin sheet materials permitted for SUPPLEMENTARY INSULATION and REINFORCED9 U; c9 u. |- w' z
INSULATION (see Figure F.15), irrespective of the distance through insulation, provided that all' N( c6 f; _& A
of the following apply:
- u9 A! S) a/ H( i c- K* R* Z− two or more layers are used;
/ j7 ?' H, D- D% J% E− the insulation is within the equipment ENCLOSURE;9 [- Y3 S4 D( i& C9 f/ Q4 I
− the insulation is not subject to handling or abrasion during OPERATOR servicing; and' V2 L* n6 n" D
− the requirements and tests of 2.10.5.7 (for separable layers) or 2.10.5.8 (for nonseparable) Y: T$ w+ @, Y% C) R. W

− SUPPLEMENTARY INSULATION shall consist of at least two layers of material, each of which
