1 - During the heating test the temperature of a known insulation class system exceeds the
, H# O( X5 |& P7 K7 D7 ^- u% ztemperature limits specified in sub-clause 11.5. In this case, is it possible to jump multiple
insulation classes when using 11.6. (This would mean that the test of clause 11.6 is
6 H% c4 t0 x  y& G. [applicable whatever the value of exceeding temperature rise) ?
/ S  @7 C* w" a% ^2 – How is the measurement of temperatures on armatures windings performed, specially
when the windings of the rotor are not easily accessible? Is it possible to use infrared guns?

% f6 r% x, b+ U) z3 ~1- The clause 11.6 is applicable for any temperature rise value independently of the
insulation class
2- Resistance variation method is generally used, dismantling the motor and extrapolating
with a resistance/time curve, if necessary.
Other methods (Infrared , thermocouples) are not widely used and need to be confirmed.
