; G- @* L$ }* Z4 D4 A9 zdecision to consolidate the existing compliance marks into a single consolidated compliance mark (the RCM, Regulatory Compliance Mark)" v& q! ]5 v5 W7 S
covering telecommunications, radiocommunications, EMC and EME technical requirements.' R+ n1 c! i6 f( d4 a

Subject to final ACMA approval, from 1 July 2012 all ACMA Labelling Notices will specify the RCM as the compliance mark to indicate

labelled with the A-Tick or C-Tick at the end of the transition period will not be required to be relabelled.6 b' L$ B4 m( q+ \- W8 T0 M
' N2 Q1 @$ p: ]' i8 MThe implementation of a consolidated compliance mark will lessen some industry administrative burdens by reducing the complexity of the

Currently, RCM mark is an alternative mark to C-tick but is not an alternative mark to A-tick telecommunications compliance mark. If a6 q y2 u. d$ H: y5 x
supplier is labeling a product with the RCM mark, the supplier must comply with the requirements of AS/NZS 4417 (Electricity Safety).4 _$ u6 e7 t: @
