The Green Dot is a system for the collection and recycling of sales packaging used for retail products sold in Germany, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Italy and France. A company involved in the manufacture, distribution or retail of consumer goods for the German and French market must be part of the German "Green Dot". The Green Dot is not a recycling logo but a financing symbol. It may only be placed on a package for which you are paying fees to a Green Dot organization”.
