In the application of IEC 61543 it was noted by various testing laboratories that note 1 of table 5 (referring to the impulse voltage test T2.3 for immunity to conducted unidirectional transients of the micro-/millisecond time scale) does not give information about the number and the polarity of the impulses to be given.& ]5 n* O5 i( W
Decision:
$ n8 C' U* M. c* g) z. JThe mentioned note 1 shall be interpreted by replacing the first line by:
! z4 H1 V- {8 L5 P* |4 i“This test shall be carried out with the RCD, in the closed position. A total of five positive and five negative pulses (for each phase angle) shall be applied synchronised to the voltage phase at the zero-crossing (0°) and the peak value of the a.c. voltage wave (90° and 270°), for each of the following tests:
