"Corr." is the abbreviation of "Correction factor". In view of your data sheet, your lab should put a transient limiter in front of the Test Receiver input. As the transient limit will get the 10dB attenuation to the input signal, the correct test result is therfore adding back 10dB to the meter reading.& c# {& X' v) R6 a( J

Please note that different transient limiter will have different amount of insertion loss. To correct the meter reading, the lab should check the specifications of his on-hand transient limiter.- o$ `: j6 C# b4 h

By the way, the cable loss is also added to the meter reading for the accrediated labs. In this case, the correction factor will change with the frequency. |
