4 F* R* S/ R+ q* Z0 k+ X5.18.3 Thermal insulation shall be reliably secured in place. It shall be attached to the luminaire in the! w9 p9 U6 }0 w# _# B+ l
correct position by at least one of the following means:
" H- [. {' W5 n% L9 W) t' n6 @(a) staples or bolts;
5 E/ o. z$ ?; o* h3 c(b) adhesive applied to at least one-third of the surface of the insulation;1 R# {6 U% i2 [
(c) parts of the luminaire that do not have to be removed for installation. A supply conductor
M- e1 p! t$ M) h3 ^4 m) _projecting through the insulation is not acceptable for securing the insulation in place; and
5 \2 u8 N1 g8 B$ G& O0 z! u( t2 `(d) other means if investigated and found to be mechanically equivalent.
4 k3 i6 v+ c& u& P5.18.4 Thermal insulation shall not be located within 6.4 mm (0.25 in) of any opening for the connection8 [2 I) G% Q9 T
of conduit unless the insulation is attached to a cover or other part that will be removed when conduit is

: Q5 x( |1 h& u* d0 g5.18.5 Glass fiber thermal insulation provided as an integral part of the luminaire shall have a minimum
