It is allowed to add decorative parts with flammability class HB to the outside of the fire
enclosure of, for example, a computer. Consider the situation that the computer is, then,
installed inside the fire enclosure of bigger equipment. According to the standard, parts
' m/ Z3 @0 s: b( F* F1 _6 l  H' P/ {inside a fire enclosure of the bigger equipment must meet the requirements of clauses 4.4.3.2
" c/ `: o' [/ T% band 4.4.3.3: all materials inside a fire enclosure must be of flammability class min V-2 or
HF-2. It is not clear whether the decorative HB material on the outside of the computer is
exempted from this requirement since the computer has been approved separately
Decision:
