9.3.4.2.3 Results to be obtained" x3 V! a% ^! P
The contactor, starter, or the combination starter, the combination switching device, the$ S8 _/ M' j- X, c# R; s* D5 K
protected starter or the protected switching device, shall be considered to have passed the
$ R' q1 X m; \tests at the prospective current "r" and, where applicable, the prospective current Iq, if the
0 f* k3 R% ` u% j9 ?6 qfollowing conditions are met for the claimed type of co-ordination.5 d! k1 Y w, Z5 e
Type "2" co-ordination (all devices):
. x+ G. P( J8 A1 ^( RJ No damage to the overload relay or other parts has occurred, except that welding of/ `9 q! c+ `3 e4 ~. y% U( }
contactor or starter contacts is permitted, if they are easily separated (e.g. by a
) q! C2 a3 J; Q. Z5 e: wscrewdriver) without significant deformation, but no replacement of parts is permitted# ?$ g4 \/ Z% o* J
during the test, except that, in the case of fuse protection, all fuse-links shall be replaced.3 w. E5 f. c! j. r! N* }& ]
In the case of welded contacts as described above, the functionality of the device shall/ k+ J/ d! t. T& i- b
be verified by carrying out 10 operating cycles under the conditions of Table 8 for the
/ ~! K+ P7 C8 W) D! V3 aapplicable utilization category.

"Easily separated" means a separation realised on site for example by:2 e* f1 O/ V) ?! w& K+ [% [% m
- Energizing the coil of the contactor, l5 p" M4 M _9 }6 d3 K
- Using a tool (eg. a screwdriver) for separating the welded contact or for moving an operating$ y0 F* F; ?, m0 A
means.$ d) B4 A+ q: L0 P3 O
It is also allowed to remove covers or housing of the contactor according to the instruction of' B- X. i9 z! @- t
the manufacturer.# O c5 k# M! _# \
"Without significant deformation" means a deformation without impairing the insulation of the
" U3 M) q$ F; g5 P9 Ocontactor (see d) and i) of this Clause) and successfully performing the 10 operation cycle
