Question: Various IEC standards have requirements for humidity/temperature
+ S# A) b% I% j. w% t8 oconditioning, but have different specifications for the test conditions.5 g3 d3 i# R+ g. }% Q7 ]7 @
IEC 60065 – 93 +2%/-3% (t 30°C +0/-2°C)
& Q# a) \4 ~% V# qIEC 60950-1 – 91% - 95% (t 20-30°C +/-1°C)

There does not seem to be a technical justification for the differences in the
( L# w# e+ z8 Q2 e! |* Sspecifications.
: d# i1 K+ O0 z8 hAccordingly, it is suggested and recommended that the humidity/temperature

Decision: The chamber is to be set at 93% RH, with +/-3% RH tolerance, at a convenient) J/ L* T5 x1 Q  |8 f2 g0 s
temperature between 20°C and 30°C, but the chosen temperature to be kept2 e' v: \( ]$ ^, M4 w
within +/- 2°C during the test.3 O- W6 b: _, S& u
The standard specifications for the humidity are to be met at the  z9 v! h5 V: d5 g! J; e& H
reference/measuring point, where the controlling humidity sensor is located.

$ Z$ i3 }& S! h  @5 y5 nparts of the humidity chamber, away from the reference point.8 Y7 m1 p$ ]- E, V8 c
